The full coverage top has both zipper and quick-release buckle closures for quick access and security. A zippered pocket on the front flap keeps airline tickets and boarding passes safe and ready. Inside the front pocket, a complement of organizer pockets keeps CDs, PDAs, sunglasses, calendar, pens, business cards and other accessories well organized. On the inside flap of the front pocket is the first of two discrete pockets for hiding keys, change, or a checkbook. Behind the panel of organizer pockets is the second discrete pocket that is partitioned three ways to hide a passport and traveler's checks, and store an extra pair of glasses.

Inside the completely foam-padded main compartment is a full-length, foam-padded divider that creates two compartments to provide a multitude of options for carrying a notebook computer or two, or a slim LCD projector, a slim printer, a portable fax machine or just a lot of extra paperwork. Convenient end-pockets have foam-padded bottoms and provide quick access to mobile phones, PDAs, pocket modems or a pager.

The rear of the Classic VI is an expandable document pocket that is ideal for a few file folders and a magazine or two. Inside, three elastic pockets hold extra batteries, chargers, adapters, and cords. When more room is required, the back pocket expands to hold a lot of extra files or documents. Or, if you're carrying lots of hardware such as a second notebook computer or a LCD projector, a foam-padded, plastic platform folds down to protect and support this extra equipment.
